Myst V on launch shows two intro company logos and then crashes to desktop without any explanation or error window. How to fix this? (Steam version also has the same problem.)

What screen shows after the two intro videos? The next screen that should appear is a loading screen, then the main menu.

Are you running the game as Admin?

Are you running the game as Admin?
The game only shows 2 intros then black screen for a second then exits to desktop.

I run the game as a regular user, also I tried running eoa.exe as Admin. Got the same result - game crashes to desktop.

Update: The culprit was OneDrive - I changed the "Documents" foider from OneDrive to regular c:\users\_myname_\Documents and the game started launching ok.
