I saw GOG added Myst V to the catalog. Awesome, but where is Myst III: Exile? Is that something that GOG is working on? I'd much rather play III before I play Uru and then Myst V. Just wondering, thanks.
I do believe that there are a few legal issues holding back III and IV. Something to do with the fact that those two games weren't developed by Cyan, and the rights to distribution is held by Ubisoft (I'm guessing Ubisoft, because they were the publisher for III and IV, as well as the developer of IV).

Yeah you're probably right. Ubisoft sucks these days. They are the worst offenders of DRM. I didn't even know there was a Myst IV, shows how much I know. By that I mean I thought Myst Uru was the 4th Myst.
While I haven't played V myself, I've heard that it is more of a sequel (story wise) to Uru then it is to IV. If you play Uru before V, you probably won't have to play III or IV to understand the story.
In Uru, you're a different person than you were in the other Myst games, and in V you're the same person you were in Uru (IIRC).
Beyond good and evil is from Ubisoft too. So there might be chance?

Oh, sorry for the out topic. But do not every forget that companies just do their job, they do not suck.
Only customers who pay them do. Obviously there is someone who buy DRM riddled stuff, and so they sell it.

As I wrote in an other topic:

As of writing, there are 33 games published by Ubisoft on GOG.com. With these are 11 games developed by Ubisoft.

But if you want to be more exact Myst Ⅳ is developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Does GOG.com have a game by this studio? : [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/assassins_creed_directors_cut]Assassin’s Creed.

TLDR: GOG.com has standing deals with all different parties involved in the Myst series.

Edit [020120503] Since writing another Ubisoft Montreal game has ‘crept’ its way onto GOG: Splinter Cell.

No worries. That can't be said enough. Ubisoft is actually the only company that I'm boycotting right now. Others have been on my list, but are not anymore. So I agree with you, the only way to stop DRM is to not support those that are doing it and support those without DRM (like GOG and the Humble Bundles).
