The saving feature doesn't save anything except a page I'm holding and the last checkpoint
The lighthouse doesn't stay charged and since the game crashes every 3-4 actions, I can't progress

The gog one
I got past that part though it just took like 30 tries, turns out the crashing's completely random so you just need to be lucky

There's three versions of Myst on GOG.

There's the old slideshow version. There's Realmyst, and there's RealMyst Masterpiece.
