Well, movies have come to GOG, and that's pretty cool, but I've only got one issue.
No, it's not that it's mostly documentaries. I rather like a good documentary.
The problem is that everything, so far, has been related to traditionally "geek" culture. Tech, gaming, that sort of thing. I get why so much of that would be here, as this IS primarily a gaming site, but I can't help but wonder, will the lineup diversify, and when? Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing some sweet independent films of all types on the site. Comedies, dramas, action, and of course, documentaries.
Obviously, "mainstream" film isn't going to happen here, but hopefully GOG will bring more small studio movies on board soon, regardless of whether or not the fit into stereotypical "gamer" interests. And is nothing else, we can always use some silly B-movie sci-fi.
