Do movies work in Android smartphones with subtitles?

I tried just now with an Android tablet, with "The Art of Playing". The subtitles did work, although the timing wasn't exactly great... If you're not sure it will work on the smartphone you could just try that as well, the movie is free, and the download isn't too big either ;)
