Hi judaslscariot
I only just got this,Sorry!
Already did contact support (before I posted here originally in-fact)! didn't help - they said...
------------------------------------------------------
"Hello
Please use the GOG Downloader to download your games. This application uses different means of authentication than browser links, and using it is practically guaranteed to fix this issue.
Our browser download links are IP-based, to accommodate browser download resuming. This works under normal circumstances, but, unfortunately, we have learned that if a user's connection assigns a different IP when connecting to our site, and then a different IP when the actual download is initiated with our file hosting provider, an IP mismatch occurs, resulting in the 403 error. We are currently unable to resolve this issue, whilst preserving our users' ability to resume browser downloads.
It may be possible for your network administrator to modify your network setup so that you are issued the same IPs for both GOG.com, and our file hosting provider's servers, which you eventually get redirected to. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee if this will work, nor if the network administrator would agree to making such a change.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Regards
Genoan"

Hi Genoan
Turns out IRL that i'm a network administrator on the UK's***************** so I agree with myself to make any changes needed. ;)
I figured out you are using Resuming via IP...
I tried the GOG Downloader and have tested multiple times, and this is what happens: I can download games with it fine!
but as soon as I click on downloading a Movie with it, it tries to initialize a download and just crashes (like, completely crashes, - it would be nice to know where the logs are kept so I can see why) this is verified on two separate machines on two separate networks both of which have statically routed external IP's that don't change. I'm also basically in the DMZ via our core firewalls so am actually pretty much unrestricted and connected directly (almost literally) into the internet at my end.
All I want to do is download what i've bought. :(
I'd be interested to see what happens if you log in as me and see what result you get offsite...
Please get back to me with any other suggestions
Thanks
