Many, many updates have been made to Bannerlord, but those updates ae NOT reflected in the GOG version of the game. Please, fix this so I can justify buying this game
If true, please report here: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_treat_gog_customers_as_second_class_citizens_v2 and to GOG directly. Doubtful anyone from GOG or the developer will read this thread here anytime this decade.

If you have extra energy, check if same version on Galaxy and offline installers. You can also ask the developer/publisher nice and politely if they forgot or something.

The GOG version is at v1.2.11.45697, as of August 9. From what I've been able to find, the most recent Steam version -- for which I can't find an exact version number (only the Steam build number, which is irrelevant for comparison between stores) -- was uploaded on...August 9. How are you so certain it's so terribly out of date here?
A link to the developer's excellent website: https://www.taleworlds.com/en/News

The latest version seems to be 1.2.11 from the 9th of August 2024.

I do not have the game (yet) so cannot check GOG's version myself.

Oh, here is an interesting statement attached to the changelog of v 1.2.10: "The patch has been released to Steam and will follow to other platforms once the remaining obstacles have been resolved."

Seems OP was right.

Maybe they were right back in June; I'm not going to dive back into GOG's & Steam's respective third-party databases again to prove or disprove that. But, as my post above shows, both of these stores got the most recent update (1.2.11.45697) on the same day.

HunchBluntley: (Themken gets scolded)
Sorry, I somehow missed your post... I will go see an eye doctor. I feel really dumb now.
