This could be just a problem with the logic for the lion slamming down and breaking large stacks of blocks near the beginning of the lava volcano area, but for this section I have gotten stuck multiple times, needing a restart from the checkpoint. To re-create you stick to the side wall while breaking blocks and you will get stuck on the last slant towards the center funnel/beginning of a lava ride. I can also fix this by leaving the game with ALT-TAB and going back in, but it seems like an unwanted interaction at best.
