It's more like "Moment of Blindness" really. I can hear music but there are no visuals. Tried adjusting compatibility and switching off anti-aliasing in the setup and it didn't help. My computer could run most other Gog games with no problems. Those few games that I encountered issues with, I managed to find workarounds to get them to work. This game, I am totally stumped as to how to get it to work.

Maybe because this game is new here so there aren't many posts? Hopefully someone could contribute some suggestions how to get this to run properly, or Gog would eventually patch the game such that it works on my pc.

I just bought the game at a big discount so my wallet doesn't hurt as much. But I still hope to be able to play it...
Add:

After updating Windows 10 to the latest 10586 version, I could finally play the game.

I had to go into config and disable the anti-aliasing . At first I tried running the game with anti-aliasing (2 or 4 samples) and I got a direct 3D error (8876086a). Without anti-aliasing, the game looked just fine.

Same issue with my Windows 10 machine, how do you update to 10586? Guessing it's via automatic updates but I can't see anything new

My Windows 10 does not automatically install the update. I have to go to "Settings // Updates & Safety " . There you can see the update and start it. Sorry, i have the german version of W10, so i dont know the exact path to the update setting. Hope you will find it anyway.

And just where is this config file? I have searched all the usual hiding spots.
On Gog Galaxy, find The Moment of Silence in your library. Next to the green "Play" button, click "More", than select "Config". Then, you may need to Alt-Tab or click on your task bar to get to the pop up windows. You will see three options:

Start "The Moment of Silence"
Hardware Settings
Internet Forum

Click Hardware Settings, then switch to "No anti-aliasing."

Look for the file moslaunch.exe in the game's root directory. Run it and you can select "hardware settings" from there. I selected for 4xFSAA and the game runs fine with no problems. (No need to use Galaxy at all, actually.)

I meant to thank you before the holidays! I appreciate it, that was perfect.
