Its been so many years since I played this & I can't find anything in the docs. What was the difference between selecting Adventurer & Warrior again?
Thank you.

Adventurer mode has easier combat. I think Warrior is supposed to be the "normal" difficulty.

Just played throu World of Xeen on Warrior mode, and trust me it gets easy later in the game even then.
This game is definitely not made to be played on Adventure mode.
I'm pretty sure that combat is not only easier, but there is less of it on Adventurer mode. Go for Warrior!
Warrior is the normal mode, yes. Adventurer is a toned down version from what they made the game is. For the full experience go Warrior mode.
More specifically, in adventurer mode, the damage you do when you attack is multiplied by 3.
Otherwise there's no difference.

Huh. Maybe that's why I thought Xeen was easy the first time I played it years ago. I may have chosen Adventurer, thinking there would be more puzzles. Instead, I was just dealing triple the damage. Yowsers!
Nope, I'd have to say it still feels somewhat easy, even in Warrior mode. Only the boss fights (Dwarf Mines & Witch Tower) have given me major trouble so far. Not nearly as frustrating as MM1.
