I get the following error when trying to start MM6:
"The application could not be initialized (0xc0150002). Click OK to exit the application."
And that's it. The error is in MM6.exe. Already tried reinstalling and redownloading.

I had the same problem as Enrico, tried the same thing he did and it worked.
I also have the original and instaled the Moe's patch on it and it worked.
So,please, where can I find and install the Greyface's patch so that I can skip the
introduction?

According to the Full list of changes linked from GrayFace's Homepage:

"To turn off starting videos add -nomovie switch to the game command line. This is not a feature of the patch, it's provided by the game itself."

You can do the original but I highly recommend using the patch. It has much needed fixes and it makes the game more user friendly.

Doesn't need Win95/98 compatibility either, which is a big plus.

Thansk for the information, I appreciate all of the helpful people on here. I really like this site and the great games it offers.

Enrique1024: Crazy as it may sound i right clicked on the Icon and went to properties and changed my compatibilty setting to Win 98 and it works like a charm. Yes i did install the C++ download last night. Thanks i am playing the game now.

Waltorious: Great, glad you got it working! I forgot to suggest the compatibility modes... they actually work surprisingly often!

You may still be interested in Greyface's patch as it offers a bunch of stuff including a mouselook control scheme, strafing controls and the option to disable the intro.

i have windows 7 and when i try to start mmVI it says that it has stoped working. the funny thing is it works when i dont run it as an administrator, but it is a small window and it dosent have my save files. It usto work fine but it dosent want to run at all, can any one help me
