Hi guys so I started to play these awesome games and first one I picked M&M 6. So I am in Dragoons caverns and chest which is supposed to hold shadow guild scroll has just coins and no scroll. Itried to go back to new sorpingal to talk to that dude but still no scroll. What am I missing? Thanx for help and cheers

You're probably in the wrong cavern, or looking in the wrong chest. I have some vague recollection about myself doing just that.

I've had an empty chest once or twice. The only solution I found was to go back to the save before I entered the Dragoon cave for the first time. I would then go get the quest again, and then enter the Cave. The bug seems to set once you enter so it had to be a save before going in for the first time.
(There are a number of rooms but I am assuming you are in the correct one for the scroll.)

Am I remembering correctly that though the mayor says he wishes for evidence against the SG, and though we get rewarded for bringing him the letter, it is never logged as a quest in its own right? I wonder, might this be because the devs had deliberately made finding the letter a likely, but not certain, random outcome.

I have always assumed it to be a bug. But you could be right. But I would always find not finding it annoying. LOL

Well I already continued even after not finding it, so I am not willing to restart game as I dont have save before entering caves. And yeah its not listed in quest log as its only subquest or how its called. Probably its just bug. Thanx you guys for replies ;) still having blast from that game and I am dont know why I didnt tried it earlier.

You get into the Dragoon Caves through a different manner later in the game. Might want to try to see if this resets the game and see if the scroll shows up. Just a thought.

Sometimes if the chest is full I remeber that all the items does not show up due to limited space. (Especially if it spawns a lot of armors) Empty the chest of some things. Exit the chest and then enter it again and the missing things will spawn once it has room to do so.

Or you are looking at the wrong chest. MM6 have great, large and confusing dungeons.
