Hello all,

First, my specs: Windows 7 64 bit, AMD Dual Core C50 (yep, laptop, but it's very decent for games and the only other game I've had issues with is freaking Dungeon Kepper 2 *grumble grumble grumble*), AMD Radeon HD 6250, 3 GB RAM.

After double-clicking the MM9 icon on my desktop, the launch screen comes up. When I click "Launch", the launch screen goes away and nothing happens.

Here's what I've tried: I installed the game in a directory other than \Program Files (x86), I ran the program as Administrator, I have tried running the game in compatibility mode (first Windows XP SP2, then SP3, then Vista) - which added a new problem: the launch screen's text is displayed as "!!InvalidText!!".

Sigh. I'm really flummoxed here, any ideas?

You could try the suggestions listed in the 3rd post of this thread
I'm sorry, I neglected to mention that I have tried the fixes in the thread you suggested. No dice. Thank you, though.
I searched for this error on the TELP Forums, and apparently using a FAT32 partition will eliminate the error.
