Might & Magic 7 has no background music. If I load the disc from the Millenium Edition before launching the GOG version, the music plays, but without the disc, nothing. I can see that there are MP3 versions of the music in the music directory. What's the deal?

If you install the Grayface patch mentioned in <span class="podkreslenie"> this thread </span>, you can enable mp3 music. - instructions in the second post

Thanks. It's odd that this fix was not already applied to the GOG version. They went through the trouble of putting the music there in MP3 format, but left the game only able to play from the CD.

I had background music until I installed the GrayFace patch. Have you installed the patch? Because without the patch the music plays just fine for me.

Nope. No music before the patch. After the patch: sweet, sweet tunes!
