I just installed Might and Magic 7 with the Greyface patch and encounterd a problem. I have the music playing from the cd ( I own the physical copy) and it sounds fine until I reload a save file, then it start to skip like crazy.

My question is if someone knows how to fix this problem or if the same thing happens in the Gog version. I really whant to play this game and if the music works in the gog version I will by it from them.

I have Win 7 64-bit

Rip and install the music as MP3 and all is fine and you no longer need to play with the CD. I did it (I own the cd retail too).
Or yes you can use the GOG version.

Well I tried that. I riped the music from disc two and created a music folder in M&M 7 directory. I copied all the tracks (2-20) and put them there. But the problem is there is no music at all now. I change the ini file to play mp3 but nothing happens.

I don't remember exactly how I did. What I wrote in another thread:

Thats exactly what I did, and it did not work. I probably did something wrong or else it should have worked. Can´t figure out what thou...

When it says game directory it means in the M&M 7 folder and not in for example Sounds inside the M&M 7 folder?

How to use MP3 Music:
Create "Music" folder in the game directory (..\Might and Magic VII\Music)
and place there files from "2.mp3" (not "02.mp3") to "20.mp3" corresponding to CD tracks.
In mm7.ini, set PlayMP3=1 and NoCD=1.
Unlike CD music, MP3 music volume is affected by Sound Volume you set in Settings menu.
