Hi:

I opted for one of my first promotion might characters to shoot for "Paladin", accepted the quest in the monestary, then proceeded to save the king's double at the arena successfully and informed the king, then traveled to Stumford, got the father arrested, found him a job, visited the son at the house, then doubled back to the monestary and the monk who assigned me the quest neither promoted me nor was offering any promotions, and on top of that my character is stuck at crusader level.

I also tried revisiting both the king and the family/shop in Stumford to ensure that I did not miss anything.

Is this going to require a restart ? I'm only level 18 so not a big deal. Usually it is the healer path promotions that glitch out on me, but this is the first time that a might path promotion did.

Update - did not know how to delete a thread but this situation resolved, though I have no understanding why,

I tried something that I did not before...intentionally letting my party all get killed. Somehow that worked the next time I paid a visit to the monestary.

At least it worked :)
