I was wondering how do you actually calculate the solution number Lord Might wants in the Arachnoid Cavern in Might and Magic 3? I have seen several walkthroughs that give the final answer but none of them actually show the calculation. All help is appreciated in advance.

First you have to start with Might, then the order you have to visit them is alphabetical.

Might: "My number is two primes less than twice the crystals in this mess."
There are 13 crystals. Twice that is 26. The prime below it is 23. The prime below that ("two primes less") is
19

Accuracy: "Add half the number there could be of you."
There could be maximum 8 adventurers (including hireligns). Half of that is 4. Add to previous answer, 4 + 19 is
23

Endurance: "Count these thrones and add that, too."
There are 10 thrones (lords, one empty, one for brother Zeta). Add to previous answer 10 + 23 is
33

Luck: "Add Lord Might's number then multiply by two"
19 + 33 gives 52. Multiplying by 2 gives
104

Magic: "Subtract the gongs, then multiply by fifty-two."
There were 4 gongs. 104 - 4 gives 100. Multiplying by 52 gives
5200

Prayer: "Multiply by the number of gongs to make your answer true."
5200 x 4 gives
20800

Speed: "Subtract 449 is all you must do."
20800 - 449 gives
20351

Word: "Subtract my meager meed (sic) and your riddle is through."
That's right: "meed". And it's not a spelling mistake.
meed - n. archaic - (mēd): a deserved share or reward
Word asked you to pay 50 gold to teach you linguist. So 20351 - 50 gives
20301

That's your final answer!

Thanks again for your detailed answer, very much appreciated.
Thanks for bringing back a great memory, ZFR! What a game Isles of Terra was and still is today.
