Does the Armsmaster skill affect the bow skill (specifically the reduce recovery rate per point of skill perk) in Might and Magic VIII?

My goal is to have a Dark Elf with a 0 recovery rate bow. I am worried about wasting skill points in Armsmaster.

I believe Armsmaster only effects melee attacks.

No, armsmaster only affects melee weapons. You can't get recovery rate to zero, 30 is the lowest rate.

Antope: No, armsmaster only affects melee weapons. You can't get recovery rate to zero, 30 is the lowest rate.
I'm pretty sure you can get it way lower than 30, I'm not sure if you can quite get it to 0 but definitely way lower than 30
