Hello :)
I recently bought Might and Magic 7 for nostalgic reasons, but i cant seem to get the game to run on my windows 8.1 laptop.

I launch the game, and i'm greeted with a grey screen with a spinning blue circle from my mouse. Shortly after i get an error message behind the grey screen.

I have tried different solutions:
Admin privilages, both on installation and launching of the game.
Disable the hardware acceleration in the "MM7Setup.exe"
Go to "regedit" on my windows to find "2dacceloff" and set it to 1

Each solution lead to a different error, so i tried to install the Greyface 2.0 patch.
This time, im greeted with: "Smacker error: Unsupported pixel format".

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
If i'm not able to fix it on my laptop, i'll try to see if i can get it to run on my computer at home, which has windows 7, but is not for another week.
