Jann180: What I meant with the recovery is that the cap is 30 (though it might be with the patch only). I know it makes it 10% faster.
What I was trying to say is that the 10% from the 'of recovery' item is taken off after the cap is put on the number. So, the cap puts the number at 30, then of recovery turns 30 into 27. This effectively means that 27 is the cap while wearing 'of recovery' items.

Yeah, two handed swords are bad. Although the sword in the stone in New Sorpigal is pretty good for a starting character if you have enough Might to pull it out.
Sarisio: Swords are among the worst weapons in MM 6 - and it isn't because of their speed. Dual-wielding bonus won't scale as well as other weapon skills after you invested 12+ skill points.
I guess you mean dual wielding two swords is worse than using one other weapon + maybe a shield. The point of swords is that you use them as off-hand weapon and another weapon as main hand (spear or mace), this allows you to get damage from the main hand weapon skill, item, and enchantment while also getting damage from the sword item and enchantment.
