Hi, yesterday I was playing MM6 for several hours saved a few times and then the game crashed when I tried to enter Gharik's forge.

I rebooted the game and the last save it remembered was from the day before, is there any way I can recover my saves, it seems strange that it would specifically forget all the saves on the day of the crash. Very irritating if I've lost the saves, especially since I got some decent enchanted items that might have been random luck and some of the fights I did were quite a grind (especially on the island of the forge)

Please, check the contents of "Saves" folder, in the game's main directory.
Also, check if there is a "Might and Magic" folder in "C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\GOG.com\". I fear that the savegames were stored into the VirtualStore space and then they were lost during the crash.

Hi sorry I missed this reply, I think I found the save I need in the saves folder but I dont now how to actually load it into game?

For some reason the save did not materialise on the game loading screen, either as a save or autosave, it must've become corrupted. I just replayed it after a few days of sulk and caught back up. Thankyou for your help.
