Has anyone ever worked out where or how to get the last spellbook for both Dark and Light classes. I searched the game high and low years ago, finished the story and still never figured it out nor have i found an online resource with this hint.

Also does anyone know where i can get copies of MM7, 8 and 9 still that will work with Windows 7 if possible?

You can find books hidden in Dragonsands (check #14 on map if you want spoilers)
As for games, MM7 and MM8 you can get from GOG, no idea about MM9.

Divine internvention and dark containment are only available as solutions to the obelisk puzzle in the Mandate of Heaven.

As far as windows seven, you can always wait for GOG.com to finish their work updating seven and eight, but for Might and Magic IX you may be on your own.

GOG versions work on Win7 already.

You can find the spells in other places, too. I found one Divine Intervention in a chest as a random (?) drop.

So did I. Twice.

I never found Dark Containment as a random drop, though.
