I've been getting healed at the Temple of Baa, because it's really close to a dungeon I'm clearing out and it's really cheap. Are they gonna go all Wal Mart on me and undercut all the other temples, until they go out of business? The evil laughter every time I leave is not very comforting?

No adverse effects, if that's what you're asking, but it could damage your reputation.

The lore in game indicates that this is exactly what they are doing; offering cheap healing and other services to attract converts to this new (covertly evil) religion.

Mechanically, they are just really cheap, and you'll take a reputation hit for spending your money to get healed by them.

Maybe it's because I didn't make use of their healing much, but I didn't see any hit to my reputation just from using their healing.

In fact, the only time I saw my rep go down from using the Temple of Baa was when I wanted it to (for the Master of Dark Magic requirement), and I donated to them. (Even then, it only goes down to Neutral.)

If I'm not mistaken it won't lower your reputation to below average, but if your rep is above average, it will get lowered to average by using the temple. Or something to that effect. It's been a while.

Healing does not affect reputation in any way. Only donating does.
