Has anybody come across this? When I go to Rivercity, icons appear all over, seemingly replacing some city textures.

It's only happened in Rivercity, (so far). Not only that, but it usually crashes here, like when I try to load a save game. It hasn't done that elsewhere.

I haven't seen that before. Try redownloading the game.

Also, 144p isn't really watchable; I suggest making sure that videos you upload to youtube are at least 240p.

I actually watched it on youtube at 360p, but when I reloaded the page, it was stuck at 144p. I wish I knew how to fix that. I don't get how they operate.

Ok, although I redownloaded the game and got the same problem, I checked out Rivercity on the non-CD version. It's fine, as it should be! So it's something related to CD version.

I just downloaded and installed using version setup_mm45_2.1.0.43 and after going to Rivercity via the mirror everything is as it should be in both the CD and floppy versions.

So I mirror teleported to Rivercity, and it was just fine. But, when I take the boat from Captain Nystor from out in the field, the glitch appears. So I can do everything I want just fine now, so long as I either mirror teleport in, or walk through the front gate.

Well, it's still weird that it's happening, but at least there is a workaround.

I wonder if it's a bug in the original physical CD copy of the game too.
