Certain items will boost resists like "Electric+11" I have noticed, and the Manual confirms the game has resists to each individual element, as well as Energy and Paralyze/Hold/Sleep (basically status combined into one)..

Where do I view them? The character sheets only have attributes, HP, SP, SL and AC..

I played this 90% on c64 and Sega, so I might not be totally tjgtt for PC. But there should be a menu on the main screen that says "protect". That will tell you what you have. I don't know what the raw numbers mean in the dmg calc, but that's where I remember it being.

From what I can see Protect will only show Light charges and "Magic" and "Forces"... this window only shows on the main screen so it does not show character specific resists (like you get from items) but only shows whether or not you have buffs from spells that I assume affect the entire part.

"Forces" goes up if I cast the Clerical "Protection from Elements" and "Magic" goes up if I cast the Sorcery "Protection from Magic."

In one of the towns (I believe the fire one), there is a specific location where you can get information about your resists. Unfortunately, I don't remember how much information that spot would give you.
