I've been playing MM1 for over 25 years now. Not every day, mind you, but I do load it up and give it a play through every few years, and I'm feeling the urge again lately. All that time, there's been one thing that has bothered me. I got the cluebook way back in 1989 to help me out, and in the item list in the back, under one-handed swords I think, is something I have never, ever found. It's called the Us/We/The sword. I assume "The" should be "Them", and was just a typo that got missed. I swear I've fought every battle in that game, walked into every square in every dungeon and outside area, opened every fixed chest and thousands of Black Boxes, and it's never turned up. Has anyone had any luck?

There is no such sword in the game, there is only one sword with strange name in MM1 (X!XX!X's Sword or something like that). My Cluebook also doesn't mention this Us/We/The Sword anywhere.

Well that's maddening. When I look in the pdf cluebooks that you get here with the game, it's not there. I'll have to go dig out my original cluebook, because that's the only place I ever saw it. This may take some time. I swear I'm not making this up, but it is possible I'm going crazy. I am after all obsessing over a 25+ year-old video game.

Okay, I give up. I have dug through my entire house and most of my storage bin, and cannot locate my original boxed copy of Might and Magic 1. It is not in any of the places it should logically be, although every other game I own is and was rifled through to make sure the M&M cluebook wasn't in there. This is pretty much how my days go, every day. I will never be able to verify this. Sorry for wasting everyone's time.
