However, after leveling up a few times in Middlegate, rest stopped restoring health and magic points? What the heck? Anyone run into this before? I went to the temple to make sure there was nothing wrong with characters and all seems fine.

dtgreene: I believe disease will do that in this game.

Also, lack of food will. So, make sure you keep your characters well fed!

(Poison, by the way, will halve a character's maximum HP when you rest. To fix that, cure the poison, then rest again.)
