Is it revealed anywhere in the series what C.O.R.A.K and S.H.E.L.T.E.M stand for? I haven't completed MM2 or MM3 recently so I guess the answer may well be in one or other of those.

I'm pretty sure none of those games even imply their names are acronyms, much less reveal what they stand for. So I'll make it up.

SHELTEM - Synthetic Heuristic-Enabled Legate, Terrestrial Environment Magistrate
CORAK - Corrupt Overlord Replacement And Keeper

It does reveal what they stand for, but I'll be danged if I can remember what they are or where it's revealed. May have been MM3.

I was given to understand from MM5 that Sheltem was a S.H.E.L.T.E.M and that my man Corak here was a C.O.R.A.K. I'm curious to know what that means.

If you want to know what those abbreviations (acronyms?) stand for, it isn't explained in games. If you want to know what they are, you can read it :: here :: It could be considered a spoiler though, that's why I'm not posting it here.

I understand. I meant that the first three games don't even suggest the names stand for anything, much less say what they stand for.
