Hi all, I bought the Might & Magic series (including HOMM) a while back but just today, I decided to start my first playthrough of Might & Magic 6. I only have a single monitor and with these old school RPGs, I typically need help from guides. While trying to create my characters, I was gonna use a guide for creating a good build and so I alt-tabbed. However, when I tried to alt-tab back in, it's like it tries to maximize again but can't. The screen goes black for about two seconds, then minimizes again. I can hear the soundtrack still, but I can't get back into the game without restarting it.

This is going to be a problem for me, I'll definitely be alt-tabbing quite a bit to read guides and such. Is there any way for me to fix this issue so I can alt-tab properly?

I'm running the game through GOG Galaxy 2.0, though I don't know if that really has any effect on it. I'd really love to play this game but I'm not about to try it without a guide since I'm well aware that classic RPGs tend to get me frustrated when I try haha. Thanks ahead of time for any fixes or workarounds that can be suggested!

Hmm, interestingly enough, I tried playing the game without Galaxy 2.0 and it worked. I don't have the overlay enabled or anything, that's just kinda strange. Thanks for the reply and solution, though!
