What does the second stat in the spell menu mean? Some spells has 8/0 and some 10/2. I understand that the first number indicate mana consumtion, but what is the other?

Spell points / Gems
Many spells cost gems. You get gems from monsters, chests, quests etc, just like gold.
There is a place where you can get infinite gems later (according to the GameFAQs walkthrough by Andrew Schultz; i don't remember this), but you should still have always enough gems. Using the help of Mr. Wizard will cost you all gems, though, but you shouldn't need that if you play reasonably.

Haha, Well now I feel a bit stupid, of course it´s the gem cost! I have played pretty far into the game and wondered when I would get spells that required them.Turns out I got almost all spells already:)
Thanks for the help!
