Why does Messiah reset my Windows volume control every time? On my laptop, loud is like 15% of maximum volume (per Windows XP volume control). When Messiah does the volume reset, it cranks the Windows volume control up to 75%. Deafening loud on my laptop is like 20% of max. So, you can imagine what 75% volume sounds like! Sadly, I currently play Messiah with my speakers muted. Does anyone know of a way to make Messiah not fiddle around with Windows volume control? Even if I hit the Windows key to change the volume during the game, it always changes it back (to the default more-than-deafening-loud level) somehow during the game...
