Is this standard for the game? When I run it it's surrounded by a black box -- it doesn't fill up the full screen. Cant play like this, driving me mad. Help? :(
Im in 1024x768 res.

Its normal, or at least its the same for me on my machine.
I wonder.. Perhaps you have an LCD screen and its "flat panel scaling" setting is set to "do not scale"? Check your NVIDIA Control Panel or Catalyst Control Center or whatever and see what the setting is.
Considering I don't have a wide screen flat panel, I just have a standard resolution CRT, I don't think that is the issue.

Yeah, I think I'd read something about it on another forum how you can change the scaling option, but I cant find it anywhere (using NVIDIA Control Panel). I have a 7800 GT and flat panel (not widescreen) LCD.
This may be the solution:

But I reallly don't wanna go that route.
Edit: I found an option to toggle LCD scaling in the NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager, but it says its not LCD and can't do it? It is LCD though (LG Flatron L1510BF). =/

I've noticed this too. I'm running on a 4:3 CRT myself (which I use for older games as they tend to look better on it).

Can anyone tell me if this "letterboxed" view was normal on the original version, or if it is the result of something GOG did to make it run on modern machines? I'd prefer to run the game full screen if at all possible. Thank you.
