I find other player said moo2 of GOG is fan make unoffical patch.Why GOG release this version,even though fan make version very good ,but offical version is valuable if we want collect it.

GOG actually does give both versions of MoO2- the DOSBox version is patched to 1.40something while the windows version has the last official patch. If you are on Windows 7 and want to play the win95 version of the game, the last official path - follow the directions I wrote out here to avoid the color palette problem in Win 7:

The windows version should work fine in the other windows OSes without requiring the above tweak.
