Here is the Known Issues list for Master of Orion.
The list will be updated periodically so please check here first if you come across any issues during your game session.
These issues are confirmed from versions 40.12 and 40.12.1 as of 02/26/16:
- Tooltip with incorrect text appears when hovering over trade treaty on Diplomacy screen
- Population Strike Count fails to display correctly in the Empire Management menu when it goes past 9
- Build command is still enabled for the Space Factory even after completing a structure on the same location
- Ships are able to collide through the Space Eel during a Tactical Battle
- Colony ship model overlaps trees in swamp colonization cutscene
- Civil and Troop Transport images displayed in the Research holograms do not match the in-game models
- Players are unable to open incoming diplomatic deals while the turn is already submitted in multiplayer
- Player's claimed systems names are not colored as it is for AI's systems names
- There are no sounds in pre-tactical pirates fleet arrival cutscene
- Enemy ships turns are barely visible
- Missile camera in Tactical is not related to any missile engaged
- Visual graphics fail to display properly when Solar Systems are bordered off
- Launching the game for the first time does not trigger tooltips appearance in Research.
- Space Pirates start off near the player's colonized planet instead of the Star Base which should be closer
- There is no error message when attempting to authorize an invalid wg.net account.
- Screen remains blurry after attempting to bind a WG.net account that has already been linked
- Region selection doesn't recognize best server connection location when selecting option
- Mrrshan leader portrait in Match Setup has strange spot graphics
- Resolution setting fails to display properties when launching the game in Full Screen
- Superscaler Gas Harvester doesn't display or add to the total Credit Income
- Hardcode text displays for text string "Don't colonize close to us" for all races
- Space Pirate Fleet can impose a Blockade on a planet with a Star Base
- Disposition marker in the Diplomacy menu appears in the middle of the screen when a race has been destroyed
- Mouse buttons fail to after switching between Colonies in the Colony Management
- Military Outpost destruction animation from the previous Tactical Battle plays in the next Tactical Battle
- Ship Design menu UI overlaps when pressing ESC while simultaneously selecting the Core, Special or Weapons options
- Heavy Fighter Bays research hologram is not centered for all races
- It is possible to have a Battle Station and Star Base in a Colony simultaneously
- Initial audience event didn't trigger when encountering another race in game
- Pressing the ESC key during the Victory/Defeat screen causes the game to softlock
- Drop-down menu for Tax Rate doesn't reset when exiting out of the Empire Management screen by pressing ESC
- Incorrect game version is displayed in game properties and copyright is missing
- Game icon is missing on Steam Activity Tab
- Battle screen does not appear for player when player's fleet is attacked in a Multiplayer game
- Extra races appear in Path to Victory screen in Multiplayer after joining session from a Single Player game that had more opponents
- The tooltip for Open Borders does not include "Establish Embassy" as part of the requirements
- Doomstars do not release their ships from the Fighter Bays during a Tactical Battle with a Space Dragon
- Destroying a planet with a Doomstar doesn't produce a significant exploding sound
