Greetings Explorers!
Here is the current known issue list for Master of Orion:
- Ship flag icons sometimes disappear when user locks their computer and returns to the game
- Game UI does not scale correctly on different aspect ratio displays and screen resolutions.
- "Select Destination" text appears over the Home Planet during the Tutorial.
- Missiles disappear suddenly when the intended target has been eliminated
- Planets that are labeled "Prime" should appear first in the Known Planet list when sorted alphabetically
- During the Turn Phase, a Scout will appear to travel to a previous location and return once the Turn Phase has completed
- Giving all your Credits through a Negotiation Trade will result in the Credit count to go visually negative instead of showing the correct amount
- Tooltips for Custom Race perks do not appear unless you press the left-mouse button first in the menu
- [LINUX] Linux game version icon looks quite poor
- Overlapping text will appear on the notification window when the host of a Multiplayer game leaves first
- Long player names overlap the player amount in the Multiplayer Games menu when joining or creating a game
- [LINUX] Resolution value shows as 640x480 when a player switches the game to Windowed mode from Fullscreen
- [LINUX]Images of some Technology in the Tech Tree do not appear when hovering your mouse over the icons.
- Starting a new game with the Huge Galaxy setting takes a significant long time to load
- Fleet Action buttons for attack-based ships appear before arriving to the selected destination within the same planet system
- Ship Upgrade pop-up appears over the Path to Victory and Empire menu if that screen is accessed from Ship Design after editing a blueprint.
- Space Pirates sometimes do not cause a Blockade over colonized planets
- Ring selection graphic appears on planets in the Colony Management screen when selecting any ship and clicking on the Choose Production option
- Switching between colonies appear blurry when accessed from the Empire Management menu option
- [LINUX] The Galaxy map renders poorly while zooming in & out
- Gifting 1 Credit to any AI has almost the same effect on Disposition when giving as much as 100 Credits
- Endless waiting for players occur when someone closes the game being in multiplayer after the host disconnects
- [LINUX]Spy training ETA always display one turn less.
- Done button becomes unresponsive on the Structure View screen after looking at any structures and closing the pop-up
- The game freezes or start to glitch crazy upon clicking Esc, F1, F2, F3, F4 chaotically.
- AI is able to determine if the player's Colonies has Orbital Defense systems without attacking the planet(s)
- Colony Management screen reopens when clicking the Done button after selecting the Choose Production button with the left & right mouse button simultaneously
- Starting technology' perk does not give any bonus when selecting Pre-Warp age setting
- Some planets spawn too close to Warp Points, making ship selection difficult
- If a fleet retreats at a node blocked by an Outpost, it will not trigger a flee movement.
- The game becomes corrupted upon loading a multiplayer savegame file.
- Adviser pop-up regarding imminent biome degradation only notifies the player of one planet when there are multiple planets in this state
- After performing an Infiltrate Diplomacy mission, clicking on AI Structures will generate an error text.
- Softlock will occur when abandoning a Tactical Battle that has lasted for more than 3 minutes
- Camera can go beyond the tactical battlefield when zooming in & out while the camera is positioned leveled with the ground
- Stellar Converter explosion does not have a sound.
- Error message appears when a player destroys a planet using the Stellar Converter
- Government Support Facility description does not match the structure's benefit
- [OSX][GOG] Endless 'Please Wait' status occurred in single player playtest.
- Players are unable to rename a Ship Blueprint with a name previously used on a scrapped blueprint
- Immediate Assimilation trait does not work
- Player is unable to start a new game and save data
- Colonists will temporarily not need (consume) food when removing colony members off the Food tiles
- Game client crashes when starting a game
- First contact event doesn't trigger if an attack vessel such as a Space Pirate destroys the other race's ship during the turn phase
- Empire Management menu becomes slow and corrupted if a player has a lot of colonies (+200)
- Out of sync error occurs in Multiplayer sessions
- Meklar audience screen may sometimes appear corrupt which causes the Meklar leader to appear in other audience screens
- Error text message appears after simulating a combat and destroying the attacked colony.
- Game client crashes during Tactical Battles
- Audience UI will disappear if turn timer expires while the player is on the Audience screen.
- After finishing a battle with a large enemy fleet, small fleet icons will always show on every battle screen
