It sends me to "buy" the DLC -- instead of launching the DLC via Galaxy.

Thoughts?
Do you have both the base game AND the dlc from GOG? I gather from other threads that mixing and matching purchases from different sources (GOG, Steam, and Slitherine's site) doesn't work so well.

I am experiencing the same issue.
Bought the base game in mid-January and purchased the DLC at the end of March, 2020 (BOTH from GOG): the DLC is simply… not there. On my "Games" pages there's only the base game and the installer is for v. 1.31.
So: where's the DLC?

I already have MoM but I bought the GOG version and Caster as you need both.

MoM and Caster are started from GOG Galaxy.

I got fed up of that very quickly and setup a shortcut direct to Caster. The "Target" for me is (I let it all install in default directories):
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Master of Magic\Master of Magic Caster of Magic DLC\DOSBOX\DOSBox.exe" magic.exe -exit -conf "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Master of Magic\Master of Magic Caster of Magic DLC\dosboxMOM.conf"

Unfortunately, I don't own many games with DLC, and I haven't downloaded any of them recently, so I'm not familiar with how it is packaged and installed.

Similarly, I don't actually own the CoM DLC for the Slitherine package of MoM. Hopefully GeoffMay's post will help you, or someone with actual experience can walk you through it.
Assuming the DLC did install, you can run it manually either by creating your own desktop/start menu icon like GeoffMay or you can run dosbox.exe and start the game manually using dos commands although it's probably better to move the game to a folder with a shorter name like C:\MoM first because you have to type the full path.

I appreciate all the imputs but my point stays: the DLC IS NOT in my "Games" page.
Where is supposed to be downoladed from if it's nowhere to be found?
Thank for your patience and yeah: Happy Easter.

If you are using the web library to download your games, the dlc should be under MoM extras, not as a standalone title.
If you are using galaxy it should be also under extras to be downloaded and as switchable under your game screen, into the configuration. If it has not been enabled by default at purchase date, it can be done from there.

Greetings

I am unable to give specific help for this. However if you do not have (or cannot find) something that you are entitled to at GOG, then just open a support ticket. It will take a few days, but they will get back to you and either fix it, show you where to find it, or explain why you don't have it. In some of these cases, it also serves to notify them that the interface is not simple enough to direct people to the things they are entitled to.
For me the DLC shows as 'owned' on the GOG store and GOG Galaxy shows the installed version to be "CM 6.01", but when I launch Master of Magic from GOG Galaxy I encounter the same problem.

I have the same problem:
own the original game (also bought it from GOG)
just bought Caster Of Magic
The launcher does NOT recognize it and always sends me to the shop page
:/
Just fixed it!

You have to go into the library, then on Master Of Magic
the in the upper right corner on Settings (next to the big PLAY button)
then on Manage installation / Configure
Then on the Installation tab check the DLC's box with "Master of Magic: Caster of Magic"

and voilá, it works :)

Yeah, that works indeed. Thanks!

Thanks, it was driving me mad, trying find out where my purchase went... They need a simple DLC interface, steam makes dlc clear on their library page for a game & whether its installed or not.

EDIT: I purchased Caster of Magic today along with some other games. None of the purchases from today are visible in Galaxy.

I own both the game and the DLC from GoG. ( On the store page for both, I can only buy as a gift.)

When I try the steps above, the Installation tab is the only tab visible and it does not have an option for the DLC. I have reinstalled the game, but it does not appear to make a difference. When I search the installation folder, I do not see any files that include 'caster', so I do not think it is installed.
