Talanin: Hello and thank you for your answers!
I play the basic game version of gog.com in German.
In my game i have 5/6 Heroes - Ravashak, Mortu, Death Stryke, Sir Harold and Warrax.
My Summon Champion Spell only grants me now Allora or Aerie.
No, i did not have employed Mystic X in the game.
I play with Myrranian, Alchemy and the Artificier. My race is Dark Elf, and I posses one Death Book and five Sorcery Books.
In my previous game, I used the same traits, but one Life Book and five Sorcery Books. My race there was Beastmen.
I was only able to get Elana, Roland, Death Stryke, Sir Harold and Warrax. Summon Champion only granted me again Allora or Aerie.
Mystic X is summoned via Summon Champion in GOG's standard install. If you had an unpatched version from CD, then Mystic X might still be in the pool from Summon Hero (leaving only 5 basic Champions).
It sounds like you're just a victim of the RNG. I see no reason Mystic X would be unavailable to you. If you don't mind save scumming (repeatedly reloading the turn before completing the spell) that would be the fastest way of making him show up. Be aware that it may take a number of reloads before he shows up (far more than you might expect when only 3 heroes are left in the pool); don't get discouraged.
To check whether Mystic X is indeed completely unavailable, you could try this:
1) Save your current game. The actions you'll be taking next are just a test, not meant to reflect actual play, so not save scumming. Load this save once you've finished the test.
2) Cast Summon Champion. Just click End Turn until the spell is cast; you'll be loading after the test, so nothing that happens here really matters (unless you are banished, so don't get banished).
3) If you get Aerie or Alorra, then send them into a power dungeon/node/ruin and get them killed. This will free up the hero slot and remove them from the pool of available heroes. While they are moving toward their grave, go ahead and start casting Summon Champion again.
4) If you get the other of Aerie/Alorra, then proceed to get them killed too.
4) Once you've gotten Aerie
and Alorra killed, then cast Summon Champion one more time. Mystic X, being the only Champion left in the pool, should show up (if he didn't show up in the first two casts). If you get a message that no hero answers your call (assuming you still only have 5 heroes in your employ), then let us know, because something is wrong.
If you are really want Mystic X instead of Alorra or Aerie, then you could do the above to get them killed (and removed from the pool of available heroes) instead of dismissing them or declining their services when they show up. It is a little expensive in mana and time, but it will remove the "competition" and increase the chance of Mystic X answering your call. If you win the battle, then you won't lose fame because a hero died (you'll need two different battle sites to get them both killed, though).
