Actually, I have news there. I still have my original game discs from aeons ago, so now I've seen how well the first Magic Carpet works in DOSBox, I've copied the installation across to a second folder and copied the contents of the MC2 CD into that one. It took some fiddles to get it working, and some more fiddles to get any sound, but I now have Magic Carpet 2 working as well. Thank you, Gog.com!
