There is a PSOne version of Magic Carpet on playstation network.

Can anyone advise how is it compared to PC - GOG version?

The PC version has better controls.

And runs in highres (640x480) compared to PS1's lowres.

I purchased the version on the PSN store just to see what it was like. The controls on the PC are ALOT better, unfortunately you cant use the analog sticks on the ps3 controller, which would have been a lot better.

Some graphics have changed, like the map, monsters are different coloured dots (which I think is cheating), and spells on the map are a spell graphic, not a red dot.

Overall the PC version is far superior due to mouse + keyboard, the classic ps1 controls using direction pad and the right side buttons is a bit awkward.
