Anyone had any joy getting the high res mode running smoothly, or getting WASD controls on Mac? I'm finding, on my 2012 13" MBP the cycles settings cited by others here result in shocking frame rates. And as the Boxer emulator has DosBox's UI hidden, the controls for adjusting key bindings or processor cycles that others are mentioning don't work.

not sure how to change the key mappings on the MAC but with changing cycles and such have you tried going to Game name.app->Show Package Contents, Contents/Resources/Game name.boxer->Show Package Contents
there you should find a DOSBOX Preferences.conf file or something along those lines the setting for cycles and such should be there.
I'd like to know this as well, the SVGA mode runs very slowly.

Hi I tried setting cycles=max in Magic Carpet.conf and Preflight.conf to no avail. The game still runs much too slow in SVGA mode ... are there other settings with which I could boost the performance? It feels odd to have to play this game in low res on a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5 ...
SVGA does run slow for me. Magic Carpet 2 is fine though so maybe it's optimised better
Any update on rebinding keyboard controls? I'm on the verge of buying this for my MBA, but need to know I can the controls first.
Assuming that Boxer is just lacking the mapping UI, rather than the whole subsystem, I've just been screwing around trying again at getting wasd working on a Mac, using a key mapping config from DOSBox 0.74 and inserting a 'mapperfile=mapper-0.74.map' line into Boxer's .conf file.

I've not managed to get anywhere with it. Maybe my initial assumption was wrong, or maybe I've just made a mistake somewhere. Either way, if it helps anyone else find a way of getting it working, let us know. :-)
