Thanks for providing a GOG version !

It seems that there are already 5 hotfix since day launch on steam that fix some critical bugs, from what I see still not available on GOG. (https://steamcommunity.com/app/1282730/discussions/0/3112522283873061577/)

I hope you won't forget us and find a way in your dev process to keep the GOG version updates not too far from the steam ones.

You should send this to GOG support, to get an "official" answer.

Ah yes, OF COURSE...

I guess I've been a fool buying the game that soon, since many developers consider GOG customers as second class citizens.

We will see how it unfolds, but considering even the first Linux build wasn't available for download on game launch despite being advertised, there are reasons to worry...
Apparently we will get the 1.007 in a few hours
I think it's quite normal that they put more priority on the platform that have most of their customers.

I prefer to have GOG updates some days/weeks after the main platform rather than having no GOG version at all.

Some of us had bad experience on some GOG games which maintenance has been stopped on this platform so now we're paranoid on every delay / lake of communication ... I don't want to blame or put pressure on every developers for that, I would just appreciate a small communication about how they plan to perform the reimpacts so we're reassured.
Thank you for starting this topic. You saved me some good amount of frustration. Had to experience the same with Kingdom: New Lands, where GOG updates arrived half a year later than the ones on Steam. Don’t know whether the process to release GOG updates is insanely hard or the developers just don’t care about GOG customers. Either way, I won’t purchase any newly released game on GOG.com, until this is publicly addressed and corrected by the GOG team. There has to be some form of accountability, for failing to deliver what you promise us when we purchase a game. It seems to me, that this is a common theme with updates on GOG, but I’m still optimistic for the future. I know they can, and absolutely have to do better than this.
I feel the same way, sadly this is common. I think this issue should be publicized. Feel free to join on https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/faster_updates_patches_to_newly_released_games and share...
Where is the hotfix 1.007?

dURDENN: Where is the hotfix 1.007?
Will probably be available tomorrow. Nobody is working here on weekends.

This. And one of the reasons why we get updates later than Steam customers do... The publishing system should be automated.

In the present case, the developer seems serious and committed to publish quickly on Steam and GOG.
Well there is another new hotfix and still we dont have any news here lol, how much should be delayed?
I asked for the hotfixes in Devolver's Twitter account, in developer's Twitter Account and in Steam's patchnotes post (all of them) and still nothing.

Is very, very annoying.
on steam now v1.009

unfortunately always the same disappointment when you buy games here.
A message from a Dev in the Steam Forum:

06.03. 15:25
"Wait a little, we'll be sending them 1.007 in a few hours"

I assume it just take some time to be released on GOG
Yes I saw a more recent message today on the steam forums from the devs on thread "Loop Hero v 1.008" : "We sent them a new version recently, but seems like they still pending with the update. Maybe because of the weekends".

So it seems that most of the delay is not on developers side which is quite a good news : they want and try to support us as well. If this depends on a manual GOG approbation process delay can stands here ... maybe they're also not helped by the recent cyberattack on CDPR (don't know if this impact also GOG's teams).

For me it's OK (but frustrating) to wait a little more, I mostly regret that this communication is done on steam forums rather than here.
