According to the XSEED blog, a massive amount of work has been done to the game; it's live on Steam and should be on GOG and other DRM-free builds soon.

I'm really looking forward to trying this with a much lower level of 'crappyportitis'.

Really looking forward to this patch too, and the great Durante works his magic again.

On a couple of games, Slain and Hyper Light Drifter, GOG have been really slow in releasing the updates (or not at all). It's making me very cautious towards buying indie games on GOG in the future.

Here's hoping that GOG do a quick update for Little King's Story though

The new patch is live, on Galaxy!

BUT! You can't launch it through Galaxy. Galaxy is still loading it the 'old' way. You need to go into the game's folder and run LKSLauncher.exe to get the new settings menu to get access to all the new setup.

you are talking about Durante's patch/fix ?

if so, yes, i really hope it would come compatible with GOG version

Knowing that this game will get patched, I was hoping to get it while it was on sale. It's currently on sale again at 40% off, so should I go for it now or keep waiting?

The game still breaks for me after defeating the third king, so I wouldn't buy it until this bug is fixed for sure
