i used innoextract to extract litil divil files to run the game on real ms dos on an old pc (not dosbox). but it doesn't work there because the game wants me to run setup from the folder where it is installed, but there is NO setup file. it's missing in gog release!!!

//edit: i made a typo in title, it should mean: "can't install it on real ms dos"; can a moderator change it?

Just tried extracting "setup_litil_divil_1.0_(28044).exe" with innoextract now, and config.exe appears, which is its' configuration program.

Reading the "dosboxLitilDivil_single.conf" file shows that the DATA folder is loaded as a CDROM in DOSBox.
You may need to burn that folder onto a CD to use it in actual DOS. (Since it expects mscdex to be loaded you'll probably need a CDROM drive, unless you know a work around)

It looks as if divil.exe is expected to run from the CD and should be pointed to the c:\ install folder.
e.g. DIVIL C:\Divil\ %1 /or/ DIVIL C:\ %1

Alas, I currently have no real DOS machine anymore so I cannot help any more than this.
