Once the title screen loads I get the worst frame rate ever. Trying to make a character was an absolute nightmare. I've been trying to run it in compatibility mode which shouldn't even be necessary considering I'm using XP.

Not really good with computers so I don't know what else to do. And I really wanted to play this game :(

Edit: Trying to reinstall it didn't help either.

I've got the same problem. I thought that dual core processor may be a problem, so I installed optimizing program delivered by AMD. Unfortunately, it didn't help.

Mouse response time is about 10 seconds on the title screen. Almost completely frozen.

I also have the same issue with the mouse response time being very long.The game in this state is unplayable is there any fix for this?

Add me to the list of people who can't play this game due to horrible frame rate

Did anyone fix this? The game starts for me at 60FPS but it then it slows down to an average of 30FPS but dips down to 15 to 20FPS sometimes, seems to be either due to movement by the main character or larger objects but I can't be sure. The mouse slows down which makes playing quite annoying.

Edit: Sigh, I just realized this game uses DirectDraw (DX1-7, right?).
