Hello,

when i use a pure Wine Installation (no proton or other convience soft) all functioned good, but the sound are crackling.

I install it with the gog-installer and i an fresh Prefix.

Have anybody a solution?

Solved: set the env PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC to 60, globally or in the link from gog-installer->wine on desktop as second env var.

Thanks a lot (for self-answering your post ;) and ) giving a solution. I thought it was just me and my Gentoo system, but it seems I was not alone. All the music sounded like sent through 2 guitar distortion pedals. I'll try setting that env. variable.
