I dont suppose anyone knows how to get past it? I have absolutely no idea what to do. Been stuck here for about an hour or two.

Its in Level 9 - Gormororg Temple 1. Its a room full of floor plates on the ground. No matter where I turn or go in the room, the far gate will not open.

As far as I can tell, I must past this room to continue on.

Does anyone know what to do?

Yeah, I've hit the wall here too. There's a scroll in the scriptures room that makes me feel like it's a clue to solving it, but I'm beating my head against deciphering that as well.

I'll let know if I figure out where to go next - if somebody does first, please do share.

Found out the secret last night. Place items on the plates in a checkered pattern. Start with the gate at the far side with the plate it front of it and place items checkered back to the entrance based on that pattern.

I felt like an idiot after I just decided to try something like that.

Well shoot, sometimes I overthink these things too.

That riddle scroll is the hint for the Pillared Hallway past that Checker Room though, clever.
