Just started the game, I'm on 3rd level and dunno if I should pick up all loot. Is it possible to trade on further levels?

There aren't any traders, so just take what you need and leave or drop the rest.

i suggest you dispose items you don't need in the vicinity of those blue crystals or stairs. Sometimes you need items again (like some skulls)
