I know this is like 10 years in the future but I have a really big need to play with the LoG 2 Dungeon Editor but I find that the game freezes every time I try and start it.

Actually it looks like the editor opens ( I see the editor when I hover my mouse over the game icon on the taskbar but the games splash screen is like frozen and has taken over my monitor ... nothing on that monitor will show up from behind that splash screen )

The game plays fine but just does this when I try and open the editor... has anyone experienced this issue?

Thinking of spending $25 just so I can see if the Steam version crashes also because I am having trouble finding help.

It just happened to me. It's strange because it's something new, since it worked properly in the past. Something has been changed so it doesn't work anymore.
