Cannot get this game to run. I fiddled around with sound settings and got to run for a little bit, but then there was no sound in the cutscenes. Tried compatibility, administrator mode, even a few unofficial patches but no dice. There is not a lot of information on how to get this game to run on Win 7, mainly for XP, and those fixes don't work me. Can anyone advise me how to get this running? I had similar problems with my original disc, so I bought this figuring that GoG managed to optimize it for Win 7. Apparently, I was mistaken. I feel ripped off, and hope I can get answer soon. Otherwise, I'd expect a refund because I was sold something that does not work.

EDIT: Finally got it to work. Uninstalled the game, then reinstalled into c:\games\Legacy of Kain instead of the default Program Files.

I run this on Windows 7, glad you got yours working, too. As a forewarning, I had issues getting my gamepad to work native and had to download XPadder 5.3 to make it work. If this applies to you, I hope it helps.
