As I remember when i exited the game it would save. However, now, when restart the game there is nothing there, no savegame file.

Soul Reaver never auto-saved. You must save manually by going to the pause menu.

hehe, don´t worry about that. Defiance has auto-save so that might have confused you. np, enjoy the game!

A savegame editor for the game can be found. Just recreate your savegame. (;
